I ordered the beef dip sandwich with fries and my dad order the ruben sandwich with fries for lunch. Both of the sandwiches and fries were hot and fresh and very yummy. I will be back!

I've been to Capers several times over the past few years and it's been a consistently positive experience. It's not a large restaurant inside, but in warmer months there is a large outdoor seating space. The service has always been efficient and friendly and the food is quite good. Prices for this level of dining are about average for the area, possibly more reasonable than some other restaurants in Campbellford. Patrons should realise that Capers is a tap house, so there's usually a crowd of boisterous regulars at the bar at the back of the restaurant. However, aside from increasing the noise level appreciably, they're good natured and just having a good time. The food is good without being exceptional. My steak was a little bit overcooked last time, but overall the food quality is quite good. I would definitely recommend Capers for a meal if you're in Campbellford.

I recently dined at Capers Taphouse in Campbellford, and I can't rave enough about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and warm, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. I had the pleasure of trying the curry jerk chicken, coconut shrimp, and vegetable dumplings. The flavors were vibrant and balanced, showcasing the culinary talent of Chef Dorsett Mitchell. It's evident that he pours his passion into every dish, making the dining experience truly exceptional. The staff at Capers were equally impressive. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was top-notch. Their excellent service made me feel valued and welcomed. If you're looking for a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Capers Taphouse. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

We had a fabulous lunch today at Capers Tap House. The meal was wonderful. I had the turkey, brie, apple club sandwich with the best gluten free bread I have ever had. I stole my husband's fries and they were great - he loved the beef dip. Serving were very large, price reasonable and waitress lovely! Patio shade was nice - bit of traffic noise but good. Thank you!!

This place is incredible. My son has anaphylactic allergies and I’m still nursing him so I need to be mindful about what I eat. The chef was able to accommodate my request for not cooking in a certain oil, and swapping it for butter. I am so grateful for their mindfulness and appreciate how they were able to accommodate this request for me! Food is always delicious and amazing.
